This Blog is Live!

Fashion enthusiasts, pop culture aficionados with a love for satire and time-wasters hoping for a shred of entertaining social commentary- UNITE!
This posting marks my virginal attempt at a Blog which will explore my personal passion for all things fashionable, glossy, artful and cultured. How unique, you are thinking to yourself- we have already seen the likes of Perez, the ingenious Scott Schuman (a must-visit Blog that has become a complete global sensation in fashion circles around the world: www.thesartorialist.com) and Toronto's own Tommy Ton with his Jak and Jil Blog which you can salivate over at www.jakandjil.com. Beautiful photography and salacious goss are common finds on the constantly updated pages of these blogs.
I hope to offer much of the same with a uniquely Canadian perspective as well as a blogger in it for bigger ideas- what excites me is art- culture- fashion- literature and self expression. I am so excited to take advantage of the Blog platform and for creating a space online which will most definitely become my own personal outlet for self expression while promoting messages of arts appreciation, awarding Laurel Wreaths in celebration of the loveliest looks, the best books and the most memorable moments in pop culture.
Thank you for stopping by The Laurel Wreath and I hope you check back soon!

Love,
Laurel.

  1. As an aspiring fashionista and consumer of the arts - and as an admirer of anything pretty - I cannot wait for your Canadian spin on the latest in these realms. At long last, a blog which will not only delight every little girl wanting to grow up in a trendy, yet cultured world, but which will also play to the more cultivated Canadian young woman (or gentleman). United we are in our quest to push the boundaries of our knowledge and sources of inspiration on all forms of culture and art. I cannot wait to follow this blog as it blossoms into a must-visit page.

    Fashionably yours,
