Not only is Laurel my first name, it also has significant meaning for the Blog and the way in which I look at and appreciate the arts. I truly believe we should never rest upon our laurels when it comes to art, fashion and culture. We should always push forward, experiment, testing imagination to the fullest. Never stop creating! In another sense, the laurel wreath was awarded in a symbol of victory or praise to Greek athletes in Classical times. Keep these ideas in mind while visiting the site!
